Update to some route schedules for winter Amsterdam, Dublin and assorted routes - winter schedule changes We have made a number of changes to our schedule for Amsterdam, Dublin and assorted routes from 10 January to 27 March 2010. Please also check your GDS for schedule changes for London Heathrow to Manchester. Your customers will automatically be re-accommodated to the flight nearest to their original departure time. Should your passengers find their new flight time unsuitable, please contact our travel trade helpline on 0871 224 4224 (UK), 01 407 3036 (Ireland) or alternatively customers can be offered a full refund. Re-accommodation options for suspended routes Following the announcement on 25 November 2009 regarding the termination of bmi services between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Kiev and Aleppo, please find attached re-accommodation options for these routes. Our immediate priority is to re-accommodate passengers booked on these services with the minimum of disruption. The attached re-accommodation policy (applicable to BD/236 ticket stock) has been set up to cover all passengers that have been issued tickets (BD/236) on or before 01 December 2009. All passengers that have not already been ticketed will have to make alternative arrangements. New codeshare with Aegean Airlines bmi is pleased to announce new codeshare agreement with Aegean Airlines. As of 25 October 2009, bmi and Aegean Airlines (A3) entered into a codeshare agreement. The new cooperation offers passengers nonstop service between London Heathrow and Athens International Airport (ATH), with planned future onward connections via Athens to Thessaloniki (SKG), Heraklion (HER), Chania (CHQ) and Rhodes (RHO). In addition, the codeshare agreement allows Aegean Airlines to offer six new onward connections via a transfer in London: Manchester, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin. All flights will carry both airlines' codes 'BD' and 'A3'. About Aegean Airlines Aegean Airlines is the largest Greek carrier. The company currently operates a fleet of 33 aircraft with an average age of 2 years in its scheduled flights. Aegean services 52 routes on Greek and international destinations, performing 200 flights per day. Aegean has been accepted and is in the process of joining Star Alliance, the strongest alliance in the world. bmi announces new codeshare with Continental Airlines bmi is pleased to announce our newest transatlantic codeshare partner, Continental Airlines. bmi, due to our new CO codeshare agreement, now offers 3 daily flights from Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to London Heathrow (LHR) as well 10 departures from Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) to LHR, EDI, GLA, DUB and BRU. You may book your clients on the new BD codeshare immediately for travel on or after November 1, 2009. Domestic upper floor lounge closure at London Heathrow
From Monday 12 October, the Diamond Club lounge for domestic departures at London Heathrow, located on the upper floor at Gate 6 will close. Diamond Club members from this date will be able to enjoy the same level of comfort and refreshments, on the ground floor, as well as business facilities such as free Wi-Fi.

Virgin Atlantic
bmi is pleased to announce the launch of a codeshare agreement with Virgin Atlantic on U.S. originating flights beginning May 26, 2009. The bmi code will be applicable for interline itineraries to/from the following U.S. cities and London Heathrow: Boston (BOS) Katherine Gershon, Sales & Marketing Director said "We are delighted to be expanding our network through this codeshare deal with Virgin Atlantic. bmi's global network includes Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Tel Aviv, Riyadh and many other destinations covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia." A few points to note:
- If a customer holds a booking in a class that was previously ineligible for ASA, you can re-visit the booking and take advantage of the new ASA benefit.
- Customers cannot use ASA to select emergency exit row seats.
- Seat selection/change at check-in is still possible for all customers, although it is likely that customers will have less flexibility at this stage.
- Seat selection at the time of booking is available up to 28 hours prior to departure. After this time, ASA via the reservations system is unavailable.
bmi Chauffer drive
We are pleased to inform you that we have simplified our Chauffeur Drive booking process and added three new destinations; Beirut, Tel Aviv and Cairo.
We have removed from the GDS all individual fare basis codes containing LIMO, though any bookings already made with the LIMO fare basis codes will be honored.

bmi, Britain’s second largest airline, is continuing to operate all flights as scheduled from its main hub at Terminal 1. Terminal 1, which now has 40% less passengers to accommodate following BA’s move to Terminal 5, is running like clockwork.
